Keep the Kenny Dope boxset, I would. But you can send me the jazz.

Oh, and I really like the bike too!! Nice work!!
Yeah they only were like that for about 24 hours. I know I was being stupid, but it just seemed like the easy thing to do.

Glad you dig the bike and i'm definatly keeping the kenny dope box set!

-Rear is a Maillard hub laced to an Arc en Ciel. Tufo S22 tire
-Drivetrain: Campy 151BCD 165mm Pista cranks, 48t Sugino chainring, 17t EAI cog, Wipperman chain
-Campy record seatpost, Cinelli Unicanitor saddle
-Cinelli #2 track stem, Model 19 steel bars,
-Campy super pista headset, which shoulda been called the Super P.I.T.A., as the merest hint of road grit gets sucked into the cups
-Campy pista pedals, and what used to be a pair of Cinelli laminated straps. One of the rollers popped off while strapping in on my 3rd ride. Do not buy these straps.

That's all the gory detail. I kinda wish people still posted their builds. I effin love this bike.

P.S. If anyone has Campy rear nuts or EAI nuts that will fit, pm me! tanks
Where would one manage to find a stem like this? Just eBay, or is there some secret hideout they sell them at for reasonable prices? I really want one for my new ride.

There are a few that pop up on ebay. I think there is a 130mm on there right now. Not the same stem, but a similar Cinelli track stem.

When did you get the doubles Chris?

3Lph, the stem came with the bike.

In fact, the bike was mostly complete, missing only the seatpost, saddle, toe clips, straps, tires, and tape. Got the bike on the cheap, and paid pretty much the going rate for all else. None of it was ebayed.

These stems come up often enough on the bay, and sometimes go for less than $100. Kind of a lot, but nice Cinelli track stems that are 35+ years old don't grow on trees. Finding your proper length may be another issue. 25.4 clamp, so Nitto track bars will fit em. Cinelli track bars are gonna cost you.

I was scared that they would split right away, like i've heard some people say, so I went with the Errebi Sprints. I put them on, and right away...

... they split! Yay $70 away!

split how dude? i have sprints too, and out of the pakage they were falling apart. BUT! but it really doesnt make different once you get them into the pedal and tighten the buckles. ive gone through pouring rain a few times with the srpints and they still work and they will probablly outlast my need for them despite the fact that they are splitting horribly.

split like layerwise or like across wise?
cus my soma definately split across-wise

I have heard of the sprints doing that, but most people fix it with those buttons at the end.
