well, they are still pretty new, but ive already ridden them through pouring rain and nothing bad has happened. I got them for pretty cheap also. so it wont be that bad if they split.

Igneous Faction 04-27-07 03:53 PM

My next TT protector is definitely going to be a strip of 7.62mm ammo. Badass.

jacobpriest 04-27-07 08:46 PM

wow, my nylon straps are ugly but never give me any trouble...

humancongereel 04-28-07 09:14 AM

at first i thought "49x16 and platforms?! skitching! kid is gonna die!"

but at least you have two brakes, so i guess it works with the platforms.

br995 04-28-07 09:26 AM

What is skitching? I get the impression this is not what you guys are talking about.

Those rounds are 7.62mm more than likely used in an M60 in case you wanted to know...

Been nato as long as we've used the round. US troops have never been issued .308Win, only 7.62.

yes that is correct. when on a bike, you can hold on to the car and get pulled. you can see it on lucas brunelle's bike messenger video i think. have any of you ever skitched with a fixed gear bike?

doofo 04-28-07 10:59 AM
