Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Here's my latest. I just took it for it's maiden voyage from Lincoln Park up to Wrigleyville. Tomorrow it's your love, then the world. I saw some creeps sneakin' a peek on Belmont when I stopped off to show it off at Chicago Tatoo. I've reached cycling extacy, seriously. Expect to see my other bikes/parts on eBay & CL soon enough.

Mario's work makes me drool despite the fact that I don't want a tattoo. I just hit on the counter girls since they're so cute!

crappy photo of my 1975 raleigh pro. fresh from ebay. kept the wheels on there (smooth suntour sprint hubs). put on some miche cranks and bb. thomson post. nitto stem and, of course, riser bars. new saddle will be going on there. i'll post more (better) pics soon.

Save up. My blue bike makes me not ever want to ride another bike, it's perfect. Darian's feels really nice too, although it's got too much seatpost for me in it's current config

Darian was riding it yesterday and he thought something was wrong because he said the pedals felt like they turned too easily. He's used to an old specialized road conversion that weighs about 5 pounds more than the Walker. Power transfer is so effecient too...

A few more pics of our outing:
