Cool frame. What is it?

fuji track pro?

el twe 10-28-07 07:48 PM

Either a Tange or Gan Well Pro carbon.

EDIT: nevermind, saw it posted somewhere else as a Leader.

No, definitely not that. The rear stays on the Track Pro are much lower than that frame.

I'm going with Leader.

I've posted this bike once before, but I finally took some decent pictures. The build is pretty finalized, I don't think I'll be doing much to other than changing up the gearing when I take it to the track next season where I predict I will continue my streak of getting totally humiliated but enjoying myself nonetheless.

This has been serving both as my daily rider/around town bike as well as what I take on longer 50-60 mile rides out of the city.

That bike is amazing.

DasProfezzional 10-29-07 12:17 AM

Where does one get one's hands on one of those?

nateintokyo 10-29-07 12:46 AM

check your local phonebook for a fellow named Geoffrey Butler, then go steal his bike.

piwonka 10-29-07 06:16 AM

128, someone yesterday told me she loved my bike and it was classically beautiful...and i'm going to go ahead and say that about your bike(s)...i love them and they are all classically beautiful.

Here's my Blizzard Bike, winter fixie commuter. Studded tires, front disk brake, San Marco White Regal saddle, rear luggage rack. What I really like about this build from a style standpoint are the gold nipples over the black spokes onthe Mavic Open Pro's. The nip's accent the gold rivets on the saddle. In real life it really pops! I'll post some better photos later

You're almost out of dropout, you may want to add one link to your chain.

and if you add one link and it bottoms out in the dropout you should put a chainring with one more tooth on it. i wouldn't ride that bike with the wheel positioned where it is...but that's just me.

ryand 10-29-07 10:51 AM

Or you could use a half link and save yourself the cost of a chainring.

shants 10-29-07 10:54 AM

that dropout seems to have enough room for a couple of links if so desired. i strongly doubt that a half link or chain ring change would be at all necessary.

ryand 10-29-07 11:00 AM

Agreed, just pointing out that a half link would be cheaper if it actually did come down to that.

mcafiero, more pics?
looks real nice.

freeskihp 10-29-07 01:05 PM

skidding on studded tires at night might be the most fun anyone can have with a bike

Cynikal 10-29-07 01:09 PM

See if you can find magnesium spikes.

chase. 10-29-07 01:33 PM

definitely feeling that alpine assault surly. might be too nice for a snow bike, though.
