Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Try Suicide Girls dot com.

The wheels are now finished, but I didn't get the tires I wanted. Anyway, got her built and here are the results.

when suicidegirls starts using trackstanding in their softcore 'hardcore' porn does that mean it's jumped the shark?

First impression of the Shogun is very nice - I rode it for two weeks as a single speed just to get used to the frame (it's the absolute maximum size that I can ride, normally I ride about 2-3cm shorter). Just put the fixed cog on three nights ago. Spent the next afternoon (re)learning how to start out without making a complete fool of myself.

My last time I was on a fixed gear was 34 years ago. And then I had the advantage of being on a hit or two of microdot at the time . Made for one of my better, and long remembered, cycling experiences.

i'd much rather have a 'jump the shark hxc sellout repressive ideology/suicide girls on track bikes thread' to discuss this but i'm going to side with a 'yes' on this one.

**** i hate suicide girls. it's like dressing up like the pope and then selling pentagrams and candles to satanists.
