Otay, indeed! The freewheel side gets used quite rarely, and only when it's dry. I just wanted to feel what it was like to coast again. It was weird.
As for the fender, it's about the cheapest thing you can get. It's just the rear of the Planet Bike "Freddy Fenders" clip-on set with its mounting reinforced by a heavy duty twist-tie. I think the set was $10-15. It works, though.

Sorry, it's a kinda "do-it-all" frame from Ira Ryan. It's relaxed commuter geometry, with a custom rack for groceries and my office gear. It's got horizontal drops for fixed riding, and dual brakes for flipping the rear wheel/tossing on a nexus hub.
It's all parted out, shipping to me on Saturday, nad then just a bit of assembly and it becomes my new daily rider, replacing a beat-to-**** 9-2-5.

Whilst gold velocitys might have been too much, with that gold chain, a little accent of gold would be sweet, how about gold spoke nipples??? That would look sweet. It's just a little bit of gold, to offset the silver.

seems to me like tarck ends would easier. don't have to wrry about the fender butting the seat tube and therefore not letting the wheel drop out...

you know, when you brought that bike into my shop, i thought 'kinda dumb'. although only do to the bmx platforms and the no brake combo. it was a nice looking frame and pretty fun to ride around the parking lot.
