Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I changed a lot of stuff on this bike after this photo was taken.

First of all, the handlebars are now bullhorns, put on a different saddle, the pedals ARE NOT those **** plastic ones anymore, added clips and straps, formula flip flop hub, went up to the larger chainring (52T I think) and put on a 16T surly track cog.

OMG WE HAVE THE EXACT SAME BIKE DUDE!!!

Did you find your frame in an old factory like craig did? That bike sure looks a hell of a lot different now too.

shimano 105 probably
the full range of early 90s shimano pedals were shaped like that, all the way up to dura ace
impossible to find replacement clips for

definitely true. i bought a pair of those at the local bike co-op and they didnt have any clips. seeing as how they would be totally pointless without them, i talked myself into thinking i could find them somewhere else.

nope. nowhere.

they're not comfy, and there's no advantage to using them over other pedals, unless you just have to match the rest of your early 90's shimano group
