I thought about buying those, but I went with cages instead.

Uhm I'm no pro or anything like that. To be honest I tried my friend's clips and toe straps (rides a Mercier) and I just really didn't like the motion I had to do to get out of them. That or I'm just clumsy. I bought these on a whim and have been using them for about a week. So far so good. I can't speak of durability being only a week, but what they are intended for they do well. Furthermore, replacing them is dirt cheap, around $12 I think.
Getting in and out of the straps is a breeze and I don't ever thinking about stepping out of them. It feels like a fluid natural motion thus far and I'm pretty happy about that. I'm still learning to skid, so I tried a few times and they work well for that too. All in all pretty darn happy, but I can't honestly compare them to really good cages because I haven't tried any for a long enough time.

Those would be Power Grips. I have them on my conversion. They work pretty good and they are super easy to get in and out of.

You really won't find any track frame bigger than a 62-64cm size. But, you will find some with longer top tubes that would fit like a bigger bike. I bet your Peugeot has a short <58cm top tube. There are a number of bigger track frames that have a 60cm+ top tube lengths. Among those are the Mercier 60cm Kilo TT/TT Pro (61cm tt), 62cm Surly Steamroller (60.8cm tt), 61cm GT GTB/Pulse (61cm tt), 64cm Fuji Track (61cm tt), 61cm Langster (60cm tt), 61cm Fuji Track Pro (09 model) (61cm tt), and 60cm Masi Speciale Fixed (60cm tt). You just have to accept that you are going to have to show a lot of seat post, and will probably have a big seat to bar drop without some stem swapping. I know how you feel at 6'6", and I currently own a 61cm GTB and have a 64cm Fuji Track f/f that I had previously built up. Both of those bikes aren't built anymore.

Hey no problem. In retrospect, that post probably wasn't entirely necessary but I just felt like expressing my opinion on them.
It was sharper when I wrapped it under my bar wrap. But the brake works damn good as it is right now, and I am too lazy to re route it.

Here's my first shot at fixed gear. 80's schwinn tempo frame, mavic cxp-22 rims, formula hubs, surly 19t cog, 52t chainring, chop and flop bars. Loving every minute on it!
Paint is custom, done by me and my old man, it's a metallic blue, the flake looks amazing in the sunlight.
Second picture is what I started with.

About the chainline, I know it's a little off, but it's not that far off. I am trying to find a longer/wider spindle (I have a spindle from a 70mm bb right now and am looking for a 71mm one) which would improve the chainline. Any ideas where I could get one? I have tried looking at a few lbs's but haven't had much luck. I got lucky enough finding the spindle that I did (my bike used to have cottered cranks).
There is a lot of bar tape but it's oh so comfortable.
The lever without a lever is just for symmetry so that both hands have something to pull on when I am climbing.
Thanks, I really enjoy my conversion a lot too. You should have seen it before I cleaned it up to look like it does now (I think I posted a pic earlier in this thread, I can't remember).
And as for brake levers, I don't have a ton of money so if you have any reccomendations that would be great. This one works really good for how old it is and it's all I have.

Bar end levers. Take a look at Tektro RX 4.1. Roughly $30 for a pair and they are black to match the grip. https://harriscyclery.net/itemdetails.cfm?ID=1933
You can double wrap those bars for some added cush and still have it look proper, it just looks tossed on right now is all I was really getting at. Wrap it properly and it will last a lot longer, your hands aren't going to wear on those exposed tape edges as much.

I understand being broke for sure. Have you looked at sealed bottom brackets? Your bike should be threaded properly to take any number of great options as far as the BB is concerned.
Bar end levers. Take a look at Tektro RX 4.1. Roughly $30 for a pair and they are black to match the grip. https://harriscyclery.net/itemdetails.cfm?ID=1933

Might have to pick up a pair of those tektro's as they look pretty sweet.
And yeah I pretty much did throw that barwrap on there. Maybe once I have some more time I will lookup how to rewrap it properly.
Thanks for the suggestions.
