You have to admit, that's not too intelligent sounding.
ZOINKS!!! You suck at sentence structure, spelling and punctuation.

You spelt random wrong, you didn't capitalize "Well" and you missed most of the periods at the ends of your sentences.

back to topic.

The Gangsta Track is an awesome bike if you want something that can take a lickin and keep on tickin...

It's geometry is really stiff and zippy. You can run huge tires, put fenders and barspin. It is pricey, but it's handbuilt in Brooklyn. The guys are super nice and build crazy bikes.

Any more questions?

Why would you put a brake on a track bike?

Raise your hand if you live near a track.

Danny's right. Austin kicks ass on this thing. He jumped an 11' gap at the Bmore MASH premier on it as well....

To be fair the gangsta did well at the track because of the rider, not the bike. Austin would have been better off on a "real" track bike.

I assumed because of the geometry that this bike was more of a fixed "beat the hell out of me in the city" bike then a pure track bike, with the beefy tubes and sloping down tube and all...

Cheers for all the feedback guys.

I'm not in the money to get one at the moment but I've been eyeing them off and wondering what they're like. I've already got a very nice lugged steel track bike, but I'm wondering about a work bike that I can thrash the hell out of and not be worried about chipping the paint. Unfortunately a $775 frameset doesn't really fall into the 'beater' category, but maybe when I've got some money (some day) it'll be an option.

Thanks again! Keep the opinions coming!

austin had a pretty innovative brake setup during broadway bombin', actually. he attached a brake somehow to an expander bolt - like, from a quill stem - and shoved it up the steerer tube from below (cue innuendo). nifty solution.

anyway, because i'd like to contribute as much as the incredibly charming ralph - i was surprised at how it's much lighter than it looks. not a boat anchor, by any means. didn't really get a feel for it when i hopped on chris brooklyn's, cause i was busy trying to shove my clipless shoes into his doublestraps (cue innuendo), plus it was too big. but i'm open to it, even though i thought it was ridiculously weird at first.

still curious as to the reasoning behind the huge fork. maybe if i ever meet this bmw dude i'll ask him.
