I havent decided for sure how I am going to work the strap out yet. if it is going to be static or slidable yet. but i am done with the liner of the bag. the math was a a little off so the bag is cavernous is the wrong direction

this is one of two markup bags I am working on before i buy some cordura. that crap is expensive just for the sake of testing out a new pattern.

Looks good, Is that the Baileyswork strap?

c0urt 12-12-07 09:40 AM

no, thats a c0urtworks strap

dirtyphotons 12-12-07 10:03 AM

i'd make it adjustable. different loads require different lengths of strap.

looks great man, good luck.

c0urt 12-18-07 02:49 AM

I have been slacking off, I need a patch to cover up a mistake on a the flap I am too lazy to fix
and i need to finish the bottom compression straps

you cant tell, but it has a divider and a velcro pocket inside

and it actually has four pockets up front

I was trying to make it out there for the alley cat this weekend, I mean trying hard. but i toasted my rear wheel on my fixed gear.

It looks pretty good for me being in atl in feb for the valentine's alley cat.

a b seize 12-18-07 12:35 PM

c0urt 12-18-07 04:07 PM

singer 7436, i like the big table and it came with a walking foot, was on sale a few weeks back. has a few other useful feet. not as strong as i would like. but it gets the job done, and just requires me to be cognizant of my actions. has a bunch of stitches i will probably never ever use.

that is also an example of a poor work area.

na975 12-18-07 05:19 PM

how long do you expect that to stay together?

In Savannah, eh? I almost went to SCAD. Do/did you?

Oh, and on topic, that bag is tasty and your Turtles blanket is the least urine-stained one I've had the pleasure to see.

gargiulo.mike 12-18-07 07:27 PM

SCAD? im so sorry.

bexley 12-18-07 08:10 PM

Why? I didn't go. Having a full scholarship handed out after showing five of my slides seemed a little dubious even if it was tempting.

(WTF? Cleveland? School or not, that place is ass.)

until it comes apart. this is a test bag, I am making two I reverse engineered a pattern from a picture of someone else's bag and I am working out the kinks. and playing with the design, the next bag will have changes and fix mistakes from there. and will probably be given away to. and then from there I will make a few from cordura and sell them to recoup my losses.

http://stupidhurts.org/gallery/displ...album=4&pos=40
but I have owned this one for several years, but it is cordura though. and cordura is three times stronger that canvas
and i have lugged over 60 pounds in it. and i didnt have the sense to use upholstery thread like i use now

not sure how long the canvas duck cloth will hold up. part of the reason i am giving the new bag away for free.

but it has three layers on the floor and if you arent toting knives or rabid wombats who knows how it will hold up part of the test process

dijos 12-18-07 11:05 PM

i really dig th floral accents on that bag. Keep it up!

c0urt 12-19-07 12:26 AM
