Sealed BB from Superbe Pro cranks?

Sealed BB from Superbe Pro cranks?

Do the Shimano UN series work? If not what are the options?

apparently the superbe pro cranks are iso taper (or maybe some proprietary taper that is closer to iso than jis). so get miche, campagnolo, or another sealed bb that is iso rather than shimano which is jis... miche ones run about 20 bucks..

NJS B.B. standard square taper is 2 dgrees
You can use any NJS B.B. axle
Shimano(NJS)>Sugino(NJS)>Suntour(NJS)>Hatta(NJS)
However, used crank might enter the interior when the taper part has extended.
An accurate Chen line is C-C 42mm(+-1mm).

No, don't use a Shimano BB. As Trons said, the taper is different. Use a Campy or Miche.

I had a Superbe Pro road crank mounted on a Shimano UN-73 BB and it started making a terrible creaking noise. Replaced the BB with a Campy Veloce BB and it's perfect.
