Good bike shop(s) in miami area

Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

There is bike shop in north miami called BROKEN SPOKE.They are good for service. Most other shops will have 1 or 2 "out of the box" fixed bikes like langsters and cannondale track bikes.

There are two groups that organize cm independently of each other, both ******** and dangerous for different reasons. One is too aggressive(punk rock) with small numbers while the other is too passive(veggie hippie) with way too many people oblivious of the fundamentals of group riding. This has led me to a much happier existence riding by myself.

I'm visiting my family down there in a couple days. I wish I could bring my bike, but it's such a short trip I don't even think I'll have time on my own.

Go to Business Cycles in S. Miami (businesscycles.com) Collins is in Miami Beach, not Miami. Miami is a very dangerous place to ride...zero bike lanes, terrible and aggressive drivers, heavy traffic this time of year, lots of lost tourists, and so on.

www.businesscycles.com at 9620 S.W. 77th Avenue, Miami, Florida 33156 Telephone 305-273-4440

They're pretty much 100% track bikes and all things track-related. There's a velodrome in Broward County (Brian Piccolo Park), too.

A little late on this, but that area of Collins in close to City Bikes in Aventura. The owner says he was a track racer 20 years ago. Business Cycles is a top shelf shop selling only top level elite bikes, no mid range stuff there. Business Cycles is good 45 min car ride from 170's and Collins
