Miyata 414 rear hub spacing?

I just picked up this frame for my girl friend as a SS conversion. Just for ****s I threw my 700c wheels with 120mm hub spacing on and they dont fit. Anyone know what size hubs or could the frame be bent?

Just measure it.

It's probably 126mm and yes, it can be bent (assuming it's steel).

Edit: like this.

would it be ok to bend it to fit a 120mm hub or would that mess up my whole chainline?

I probably wouldn't bend the stays more than 5 or 6 mm, but some would say more would be fine. For example, if the frame is 135mm, you probably should respace the hub rather than bend the stays.

Also, chainline is relative to the center line of the frame, and is therefore independent of dropout spacing.

most of the road conversions you see on here (and trust me, there are a lot)
have 126 mm spacing and the majority just slapped on 120 mm spaced wheels.
you should be fine.
