Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I believe the art is from someone on here, I can't remember the name of the artist but if anyone can help me I'd love to give credit where credit is due.

Well, these are actually Black and White photographs..printed in a darkroom and I was just playing around with Kodak spotting toners for color photographs. I diluted them in water 1:30 and used it as a toner for these photos. So nothing really conceptual I did these years before I knew of conceptual art..hah. I'm glad you like it though.

I believe I am the one responsible for that elephant pic, I scanned it out of an old book of useless and fun facts many years ago and posted it here on bikeforums. I have seen it resurface a couple of times. I do not remember that there was any signature on the illustration itself, it was in the book with a mixed-bag of other fun pictures...I wish I could find that book again, it's probably packed away deep in my attic.
