actually, we are already the proud owners of a tandem. i was honestly worried about splitting the purchase of a tandem just a few months into dating Ben, but it all worked out...

Guy gets hit by a car during the race, girl drops out to help him, they meet, (this thread explains,) yadda yadda... two years later guy gives girl a ring.
Cardstock + Chimblysweep = TLF.
