Need wider Sambas - help!
I've been wearing a pair of 9 1/2 Sambas for about three months now and my left foot feels perfectly fine but my right foot's having all sorts of problems with rubbing. My pinky toe is blistering on the side and my big toe has skin drying and peeling on the top.
I may have different sized feet but aside from finding another right-foot samba, what else can I try? I need something all-black so I can wear it at work without anybody complaining about dress code. Oh and btw, I've tried bringing the right-foot samba to a shoe shop to get it stretched and they stretched it twice.. didn't help much.

Measure your foot and buy the right size next time. There really isn't anything else to do.
I think New Balance makes shoes in different widths. FWIW I have extremely wide feet (11EE) and Converse seem to fit well.

get some black vans, either old schools or slip ons.
They seem to suit wider feet, and run a bit big. SOo if you are having troubles just buy em in your real size, instead of a half size down like some people do.

I was hoping there would be a pair of adidas's similar to the sambas but made a bit large. If I switched it up to size 10, would that solve the problem? I remember trying it on at the store and feeling a tad but too much space but then again that could've solved my problem.

I need some wider levis 511s the ones I have seem a little too skinny as do my AA t-shirts I really don't want to wear any others because all the other fixed guys wear these but I think I'm just too fat. do you think if I got some other levis and swithed out the label other kids would know I'm not wear levi 511s. and maybe if I just got beefy haynes tshirts and sewed AA labels in it would be cool.
don't get me wrong I all about cool **** and fashion but if it don't fit you right get something else.

2)if that doesn't completely solve the problem, put your shoes in the dryer or microwave and then tie them up really tight. kind of like what people do with hockey skates, this will allow the shoes upper to soften up and form to your foot.
I used to skate in classic adidas alot and you kinda needed to do things like this to keep your feet from getting jacked up.

I would stick with my original suggestion, find some shoes that fit you. Samba's are nice, but there are other dope shoes out there. Though I would agree, people seem particularly angry today.

What's with all the hate?
I just needa find more comfortable shoes. I think a few of you misread the original post and thought that I needed a magical way to fix my shoes. I just need something as comfortable but a bit wider. What's wrong with asking for suggestions?

1) to make sambas a little more comfortable you have to remove the the cardboard like layer glued to the rubber underneath the insole. Its kind of a pink layer hidden under the insole which makes the shoe stiff and somewhat uncomfortable at first. Its kind of a ***** to get out because its really glued on there, but once you get it out the shoe will feel a lot more soft and flexy which will alleviate your toe problems.
2)if that doesn't completely solve the problem, put your shoes in the dryer or microwave and then tie them up really tight. kind of like what people do with hockey skates, this will allow the shoes upper to soften up and form to your foot.

i posted on lafixed.com, but maybe if you want to stay with sambas...try the samba K (K meaing kangaroo leather). kangaroo leather is the preferred leather for soccer shoes and is VERY supple. it will indeed stretch and some of my soccer mates have even taken showers with their K leather shoes (after being bought) so that the leather will get wet and later form to their feet =)
