Alright well thank you all for the help. I truly do appreciate it. After taking what every one has said into consideration, i will continue to work on this frame, until i see a frame that i can't live without. Next on the list Alien CrankSET. I will post pictures once i add those on.

I MEAN LOVE THEM! i actually tried regular bar tap (look at picture of my bike with his sexy chopper girl friend) but it still felt too skinny. but i think i will try tennis replacement grips cause they are thicker. But thanks for your responses definately made me laugh

you can double wrap the bars with regular bar tape too. I have large hands, and that is what I do on my road bike.

I was thinking that as well. but every time i have double wrapped my racquet it feels too awkward. But then again so does everything for the first time. Thank you for the advice

Well, done i have to say for a target bike conversion that looks damm good, What is the rear wheelset up? Also After the new crankset, i would look into a new headset stem, they are not that expensive, I have to say i like that you Lurked,learned,built before posting, rather than making a idiot of yourself, i think that is why we more friendly towards you compared to average noob who has no idea what they are talking about

well thank you. but i can't take all the credit my brother (indidude89) he pulled into this stuff, and still knows more then me. But i'm glad that people were helpful. I was definatly afraid that i was going to get not so helpful comments back.

I am also looking into getting a longer stem. I went from drops to bullhorns because the drops made the bike feel smaller. The bullhorns made it feel a lot better but i think i want it a little further out. But all in due time. But just in general when i compare my bar to my brothers kilo its alot skinner. But i have managed so far with it. But if i change the stem it will be for the extra length.

I bet you're not wearing gloves. Wear gloves. That might be why the bars feel too skinny.

Gloves also protect your hands from road rash, since a lot of accidents involve landing on pavement with your palms first.

That probably is a good idea. actually looking into getting that as well. Just list of things is very long and not getting shorter. But will wrap and try gloves.

those have horizontal dropouts? I agree with everyone who is saying that you should just ride it. Big deal if the welds are ugly- Hell, that's the best deal ever?

They are not perfectly horizontal. But its definately more horizontal then vertical (stupid point on my part b/c i was able to convert it intoa fixed gear) but yea. there was another bike at target and it was semi-horizontal aswell. Don't know why i picked it (must have been the paint - which turned out to be bad after i took off the decals :( .... )

I've been to Target many times and seen the Triax and said "Damn, what a POS, but at least you could make it a fixed gear if you wanted."
