Out of the case = easy.

I just went down and picked up a case of twelve 22oz Newcastles and my bag didn't even break a sweat.

Shouldn't have a problem as long as you take 'em out of the box first. And when you do that make sure to stick something between the bottles so they don't break in the bag. Cleaning all that beer out isn't fun.

I'm fairly sure the pickling effects of Carlo Rossi Sangria are the only thing keeping a few of my older family members alive.

I had a bottle of vodka smash in mine and I didn't notice for an hour or so. It had basically dissolved all my school papers. "Teacher, my vodka ate my homework" was not a valid excuse.

You can fit them, but it's tight. Depending on the back they may or may not fit in with the packaging.

My Chrome Metropolis has a comfortable max of 3 - 6packs, but the full case is possible.

Sure they'll fit, just pour them in there. Seems like a waste, though.

24 x 355ml = 8,520ml =.3 cubic feet

.3 cu. ft./1728 cu. in./cu. ft. = 518.4 cubic inches.

So, 518.4 cubic inches of beer into a 2000 cubic inch messenger bag should be no problem.

Assuming the bottles would add another 20% of volume brings the total volume to 622 cubic inches.

No sweat.

if it's a chrome bag you'd be lucky to fit a ruler in there.

It'd be lucky if you could measure yourself with a ruler too.

I have a chrome metropolis, you could easily fit two 12's in. when you do, flatten the boxes carefully and stick em along the back, then when you get to location you have storage again. Definitely pad them with a sweatshirt or something, specially if your taking a lengthy ride.

I don't know why you'd want to... 24 bottles of beer is dyamn heavy.... but I compare that with the day I brought home grill dinner to my house. Packed a 12 of Capital Amber, a dozen brats, a dozen buns, my work clothes and my standard commuter kit (lock, tools, lights, wallet etc) in my bag... that was a damn heavy load.

you would want to do it if you needed to get beer somewhere. I would much rather have a heavy load and have to ride my bike with it than drive. plus if you load it right it wouldnt be that uncomfortable.
