Are the spandex really needed when your riding in place? Other than that, I was impressed.

It's part of his sexual agenda.

He looks way too much like the ******bag property manager at a house I used to live in for me to be able to appreciate this video.

The best thing is that Fabio has Southern accent. Y'all.

i like how there's a video on how to ride rollers, as if watching someone else teaches you how to ride them. it's such a technical skill, you know?

How many miles have you ever put in during one ride on rollers? I'm guessing not that many because as someone else pointed out, you sure as hell wouldn't want to be in cotton tighty whiteys and girl jeans.

Additionally, when riding on rollers you get out of the saddle less than when riding outside/on the street (unless for some reason you want to get out of it) so you definitely need some sort of lovin' for your undercarriage.

If you've never tried cycling shorts while putting in lots of mileage I encourage you to fight your fears and try it, since your nacho will love you for it!

It wasn't sugar it was essential aminos okay it was sugar.

And what's up with the spandex hate? If you ride your bike for distances greater than the distance between your house and the coffee shop you start to appreciate it a lot.

On rollers you're going to appreciate it a lot because you sweat so much more than if you were riding outside. Plus your cadence tends to be a lot higher on rollers so you want less restrictive clothing on.

Im not a hipster so you guys can take that ladies jeans and coffee shop riding nonsense somewhere else. And, there is a lot of stuff outside ladies jeans and spandex, most of which is plenty comfortable. I'll leave it at that.

Face it, everyone on this forum is a hipster (myself included). But are you really so self conscience about wearing spandex that you won't even wear it indoors? Spandex is the most comfortable thing to wear while riding a bike and this goes double for rollers. At high cadences (I'm talking 180+) you really start to appreciate it.

bonechilling 01-19-08 03:22 PM

I wear regular work-out shorts when I ride the rollers, if only because I only have a few pairs of bike shorts and I don't want to use them just riding in my living room.

Suttree 01-19-08 04:30 PM

I wear bike shorts with a chamois underneath some
baggy Rivendell Musa knickers--and grimy shirts.
Breathes, keeps your **** comfy.
