i love my flite. i bought the frame off of CL very cheap and built it up. stiff, light, responsive geo. Another plus for me is you don't see them everywhere. i'm just about positive that i'm the only person in town riding one.

i'm glad someone started this thread. i'll have to take some pics tonight.
Wrong.

They are exactly the same.

The KHS comes with threadless. The complete KiloTT comes with threadless as well, but the unbranded frameset on BikeIsland comes threaded. Weird.

It's my work bike. Since I took this pic I've replaced the back wheel, put on ATACs and replaced the seat with a Charge Spoon (really nice). Gotta get rid of those handlebars next.

3x8sol---how is that brake working w/ those gold Deep Vs? Is that one of the colors that's anodized and not powdercoated?

Yes, they're anodized. To be honest, I almost never use the brake. It's just for emergencies.

Not really. I bought the KHS frameset brand new for about the same price as the KiloTT frameset on BikeIsland. Fully built the KHS is a bit more expensive, you can always find it on sale, which closes up the gap. Besides, I think it comes with slightly better components right? I didn't buy a complete, so I could be wrong, but that was my impression.

Then They aren't the same frame.

How ever, I do belive they where made out of the same tubing, assembled in the same factory, just out sourced to different brands like Bianchi USA or Flite..

Oh, is the TT not drilled for any brakes or just a front and no rear? I know the TT Pro comes with a front brake.

Has anyone noticed the stock fork/steer tube is a little weak? Also I get a butt-load of toe overlap. Oh well, it's a track frame. Wicked frame though, will post pics ASAP

i love this attitude. if they are the same, please site some examples.

Geo for the 57cm for the Kilo TT and the KHS flite 100 below:

from the mercier web site: https://www.cyclesmercier.com/geometry_tt.html

head tube angle-73.5 seat tube angle-74 bb height- 282mm chain stay length-403mm

From the KHS web site https://www.khsbicycles.com/Images/Ge...geo-road-a.jpg

head tube angle-75 seat tube angle-74 bb height-275mm chain stay length- 401mm

KHS has a steeper head tube angle, a lower BB, shorter chain stay and the front fork rake is different as well.

The specs on the cyclesmercier.com site are inaccurate. They're the exact same frames.

And whoever came up with the idea that the bianchi pistas are the same as the flites and kilos.. that's wrong too. The pistas are entirely different.

[QUOTE=redeemed;9766869]The specs on the cyclesmercier.com site are inaccurate. They're the exact same frames.

Where are you getting this information? I really have no problem believing that they are the same frame but i am not just going to take some random persons statement as fact when the company is supplying completely different information. Please site some examples. just because someone on the internet says so does not make it true. Please provide something to back up your statements.

To be fair, he did say after a velodrome ride, so I assume he put his brake back on and is about to ride home or something.

Hey Flite 100 owners, do any of you know the diameter of the handlebars (stock for 2009)? Thanks.
