Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Where is the Heath ledger thread?

My wife is yelling at me last night that in all the coverage of HL, there is footage of him riding a fixed gear-

I guess it's true,

I really searched for the thread, here and in foo, I just cannot find it, sorry.

He must have had a tiny little face for those red Wayfarers to fit him.

I didn't really care for any of the guy's work, but I also haven't seen Batman yet...

it was probably moved or deleted because there are other forums on this board where itd be a better fit, rather than a specialized forum dedicated to fixed and single speed bikes.

thats what i thought too but i think its the angle the pic was taken at.

he didn't roll up his pant leg, guess he likes living dangerously.

but he was human, and he died, and we should be respectful, even if i think all this celebrity coverage is nonsense and overblown.
