Bike shops in Miami?

Hi!

I am soon going to exchange the winter and darkness of Stockholm for the warmth and sun of Miami for a couple of weeks. When in US, I really want to buy a messenger bag. They are incredibly difficult to get in Sweden (well, not really all of them, Timbuk2 and Crumpler are carried by some stores), not to mention the quite hefty price tag. Are there any good shops, preferably small and local, in Miami that carry Reload or Freight or Bailey or so? Would be great to know where to go to get a new bag!

And, on another note, how is the punk/independent music scene in Miami? Do you have any suggestions what places - venues, music stores and so on - I should most definitely have on my 'places to visit'-list? Or, even better, is there anyone living in Miami that could show me around, perhaps take me to a gig or so? That would be absoultely awesome! I know from Stockholm that some of the best places can be quite tricky to find, especially if you are in town only for a couple of days.

Anything else I should miss in Miami?

Well, that's all, thanks for the help!

Take care!

If you're intrerested in fixed and track bikes go to Business Cycles, in S. Miami (check their website). They might have some info on the bike bags you're considering. None of the bike shops in Miami that I frequent are into the messenger thing, most of them are heavy into Tri-bikes and the latest CF and Ti geared road stuff. Some of the bike shops (don't know of any personally) in South Beach might have the trendy bike apparel stuff you're looking for.

"Anything else I should miss in Miami?"....Stay away from Hialeah, Liberty City, Overtown, Opa-Locka, and on and on.
