i get the "turtle going into the shell thing" sometimes (especially lately, riding in the cold)", but never numb.

No joke. I've never tried the 'windproof brief' thing before, but lately riding in freezing temps I'm starting to think it might help keep the joy department happy & ready for, uh...joy back at the homestead.

Anyone recommend a particular pair of bike shorts that works for them that isn't crazy expensive? I love my SLR saddle, but I bet I'd like it even more if I had a nice pair of bike shorts.

I remember there was a thread on prostate cancer early last year or so, righ here on SSFG, but who the heck can find it. People were incredibly serious in that one, no smartassery or any kind.

Yeah, cycling can lead to prostate cancer, if you were wondering...
