My friend had a pista concept frame (white w/ celeste lettering) that he sold here in Austin for 650 w/ fork. Just thought I would throw that out there if anyone was curious about prices, etc

Top tube pads can be useful and fun too. I see nothing wrong with them.

Why not lock your bike up with the mini and a krypto cable? They're cheap as hell.

Because a $15 bolt cutter can get some thief a $400 wheel.

How about not locking up a $400 wheel in the first place?

top tube pads are ironic while maintaining a function as an easy alibi. using them isnt fun, but blogging about them sure is!

it's painted silver, do really think that if you strip the paint off, your welds will be massaged to baby perfection? no, it's bondoed. I love the lines of the concept but the build quality is *****. they just slap these things together an putty up there mistakes. I've had two an on one of them, the rear stays were tweaked to meet the dropouts. looked like they welded the stays on at the seat collar first and when they went to tack on the dropouts, they didn't line up so they just bent the ends of the stays to fit. my other frameset (same size) wasn't like that. it's obvious, bianchi could care less about these frames
