Not trying to pick on you, it just made me sad.
lol yeah i didn't even get a chance to look at it that closely I just noticed the purple and gold off the bat. Pedals and fork are really bad, though. Why replace the fork on a concept if you're not going to run a brake? I guess he just wants to do trix, or he snapped his CF fork when he was first learning how to skid and ran into the back of a car or something haha.

But, I really do like aerospoke/HED type wheels on concepts. When it's done RIGHT, I think it looks really neat/fast.

I'll be sure to snap a pic of my Concept when it's in track racing mode, i.e. Tri-Spoke, drops and tubbies. I agree, they look pretty badass with Tri Spokes when there isn't any damn risers on the bike... much more so than a keirin/classic Italian frame paired with a Tri Spoke.

But yeah, that Concept above is probably the worst one I've seen IMO. Someone should have told him to get a Leader...

I know it's not a Concept but I've had a huge ***** for this '09 FTP specifically...

If Fuji could get a better stock paint job (read Fuji guys: LIKE THIS BIKE) I think they'd sell a lot more to the street crowd. The mostly-murdered-out theme looks great on it...

I am, suffice it to say, also miffed at the rising cost of the Concept.

Yes, that is a hot build. I think I've posted that pic elsewhere on these forums before. I approve.

it'd just be embarrassing/awkward even riding with someone who owns that concept.

The only trendy thing I like on concepts is aerospoke. I think aerospoke/HED3 look great on concepts for some reason. BTW, everyone, there is a 58cm concept on sale on Ebay right now. I think it's at liek 400 bucks...someone bid on it! I would but I can't afford it right now. It's celeste 2005. There is also a brand new 2009 white one, and a REALLY REALLY nice complete build for like 1400.
aerospokes/heds do look good on concept and aluminum frames a like but do people actually ride aerospokes on the track? with the wheels out now it seems like aerospoke are a waste of money. also since when did they start making 58cm concepts, you meant 57cm right?

I just got a Concept. It's a beautiful frame, but I can't get over how thin and delicate the tubing feels. It just feels a lot weaker and less stiff than the other aluminum frames I've had--Langster Comp and Jamis Sonik.

Yea, they definitely feel fragile as hell. At least from dents and dings.

Which color do you like better... the 2005-2006 Celeste or the 2007-2009 Athena White?

I think I like the celeste ones more, but only b/c I think celeste looks good w/ black and those frames are usually built up w/ black components whereas the white ones are built up w/ silver. Both are very pretty, though...
