Umm, I actually, seriously did it by accident.
This is why I shouldn't be allowed near tools and things. Pics to follow. |

everything is backwards.
well just the bb shell threading, that's all. |
my buddy hit a left side drivetrain. i dont think it looks any better. his pedals unthreaded and he had to buy new cranks... while he was at work! i guess it's cool if you're into being "different". too much work in my opinion.

I used to have my fixie set up like this. The only problem exists with the pedals, which have to go on the wrong sides if the cranks switch sides. The pedals do have the tendency to work themselves out of the cranks, but if you tighten them enough, this will not happen.
The only real problem I encountered was with the pedal "flip-up teeth", the little triangles you use to flip your toe into the clip. With my pedals backwards, these were on the front and not the back of the pedal, making them inaccessable. |

No, it's all right. The drivetrain should always be facing the sidewalk.
The crank puller arrives tomorrow. I think I've spent about twice as much on my bike now due to incompetence in parts selection and tools. |

Sorry about the giant pic, it ain't mine. Didnt this bike have a flip flop hub and a freewheel on either side? I think i remember seeing it posted before and listed like that and there was a big commotion because its not using a cog/lockring. |

yea I have it bookmarked it was so cool. |
Just curious, doesn't the lockring un-thread itself easier (on LSD) now?
