I won a Langster in a heckle contest at a cross race.

So my computer was crashed for like two months, this race happened over presidents day weekend. Had to tell the condensed version.

https://www.bikemonkey.net

This guy who started Bike Monkey Magazine put on a cyclocross race in Santa Rosa,CA. I roll across town with a couple friends to check out the race. They had a contest going for the best heckler. The prize was a rather loud Specialized Langster limited London edition. Long story short, I drank a 12 pack of PBR and made a megaphone out of the cardboard from the case, heckled the **** out of not just the racers but EVERYONE (including woman, children and the judge of the contest). I won the bike. It was hilarious.

Here is the bike you dirty non-believers:

I didn't bring my camera to the race so I don't have pictures of the event (I wish I did though because it would be great) But there were photogs there from the magazine so I figure when they update the website they may have some pics of me yelling at everyone. https://www.bikemonkey.net/

This bike is like one of those loud 14 year old girls that are really into Britain. It sits in our living room and demands attention.

the chicago one is my fav. of the current batch. It's less of a "HEY YOU, YEAH YOU, MUG MY OWNER AND TAKE ME FOR A SPIN!" kinda bike.

Although the 07/06 green one was the best overall, imo.
