Those "mint" hubs are hot.

ssspenser 03-03-08 04:15 PM

i bet they taste like candy rainbows

wroomwroomoops 03-03-08 04:20 PM

ok, apart from the hate on the arrospoks, the hubs are kinda nice. Only front?

We get it, dude. You don't like aerospokes. Wroomwroom or whatever thinks they are ugly. You think if you wanna do barspins, you should get a bmx bike.

You don't need to open every thread about tricks on track bikes and say get a bmx, you're just being redundant. A lot of times I think you're on point with things, but seriously, like I said in another thread, go buy a road bike then, because I'm pretty sure your track bike wasn't meant to be ridden on the street just as it wasn't meant for barspins. just like bmx bikes werent used for bunnyhopping down 20 stairs originally.

I don't remember the last time I opened a thread about tricks on track bikes and said anything at all, much less telling someone to get a BMX. Most recently, I remember telling someone on the Kilo TT thread to get a BMX bike if he wants to do bar spins, and I'll stand by that. I didn't actively seek a thread on fixed gear tricks, but I was ended up offering my take on it. If you think that track bike "tricks" are anything other than the rollerblading of the aughts, then you're sadly mistaken.

I don't ride a track bike in the streets, at least not regularly. I ride a road bike and a fixed gear road conversion, and a track bike on the velodrome.

As for this thread, it's a ****ing discussion about a wheel. I don't care enough about you to read your posts, but I'm sure that more informed and attentive members will remember threads where you offered a view contrary to the original poster (although I'm not sure that's the case here, since I think deathhare was just sharing photos and not advocating for the Aerospoke). I honestly can't grasp what it is about my particular opinions that bothers you so much, other than that I must touch a raw nerve with your particular interests (fixed gear freestyle and expensive plastic wheels, apparently).

NitroPye 03-03-08 04:44 PM

bonechilling, I want to buy you a beer.

Charlesbian 03-03-08 05:11 PM

for a 150$ paint job, shouldnt you cover the wires those aero's are hanging on with felt or strips from an old pair of jeans? I feel over time some scratchinz can happenz. oh the aerospokkemanity!

BRANDUNE 03-03-08 05:19 PM

With a little tape you can have an Aero poke.

Well, it nailed "ugly."

freeskihp 03-03-08 09:39 PM

where are people getting these gran compes?

EDIT: found them, but for $55!?

el twe 03-03-08 09:49 PM

You're kidding, right? $55 for a hub is nothing.

andre nickatina 03-03-08 09:53 PM

Hahaha... I thought he meant hubs too. I think he's actually referring to the white tires GC makes.

I bet they beat those craptacular Zaffiros. But the part white Rubino is the sexiest tire ever alongside Pro Race2's.

freeskihp 03-03-08 10:27 PM

are white rubinos done? I stocked up a while ago but can't find them anywhere

bonechilling 03-03-08 10:29 PM

I remember reading that the Rubino factory was on strike. That could explain any shortages of Rubino tires.
