White Soma Rush! 49cm!

I'm kinda excited since building it. I figure I'll add this post to the forum in case someone needs to search some info on a white soma rush in a small 49cm. Basically, it rides like a champ!

Can you take a picture of it on flat ground? Wondering if the top tube is sloping like my 50cm iro.

Will do, when I get home from work. But I can tell you that the top tube does not slope at all, straight across, this was one criteria when I was looking for a frame. I think older 49cm Soma rush models did slope a little, but those were the reynolds steel ones with the gothic RUSH lettering.

I was hoping people would ask. Measurements are already available on Soma's website. You know, intangible things like if the paint sparkles in low light conditions or does the top tube slope on such a small bike (which is answered).

Yes, I am a sys admin, but at my work.

Dx-2000 road frame in the smallest size possible without a sloping top tube nor 650c wheels, I think it's like 46cm. 28" and change standover with 700c wheels. Lotta seatpost showing with that one.

Yeah, but it was all I had on hand. It was either that or a couch.

That looks great. There's a white Rush at my LBS that has been tempting me. But it's a bit too big...

Just curious- whats the ballpark figure for that build? All new, used, or mixed parts?

Well, frame and fork was 435$. Mavic cxp22/formula I bought a while ago was like 130$ for the set, or something like that, not including the tires. $44 nitto horns. 110$ andel crank/ring. The rest of the stuff was either sourced from my surly crosscheck or ebayed used. The bike shop I got the frame from forgot to ship the tape I ordered.

I'm riding that same saddle. Love it except for longer rides with a lot of weight on my back...

435 new? is that from your lbs?
im thinking about one of these but not sure if i should save up a bit more and get a bareknuckle instead. the fact that the decals are over the clearcoat is pretty rad.
