so i converted a 1990 schwinn traveler to a fixed, i paid 150 for the bike, 60 for the origin8 crankset (which i now regret) and 20 on a surly cog, and 80 for a mavic flip/flop. i think it rides great and fits me well but now after reading some posts on other threads about people doing cheap conversions and falling in love with their bike, im wondering if maybe i am one of those people.
so basically what im asking is for you to judge my bike |
pics?

It makes you happy. That's a passing grade from me.

sorry this is the only picture i have right now |
It looks like a decent Cro-Mo Schwinn frame that appears to fit you quite well. So you paid less than you would have for an off-the-shelf bike, and learned a whole lot about bikes in the process. I'd say you did great.

i like it. and as peedtm said if you like it thats what really matters. i like how the spider seems to disappear with the tree in the background....
