head tube vs stem angle
 
I have a iro mark v wich has a 73 head tube angle......Am i right in thinkingthat i need a 17 degree stem to get it to sit level im pretty sure of this just need some one to back me up on this before i buy

I'm not aware of any 18 degree stems, but 1 degree of difference wouldn't be noticeable.

You guys are most likely running your bars too low if you want a horizontal stem. Even on the track I see people with stems pointing up. Just do yourself a favor and try riding with the stem flipped both ways, and see which one you like better.
