I took this thing for a ride today and it was awesome! The geometry is a lot more aggressive than i'm used to, but it was cool flying around. This thing is so quiet, i feel like a ninja riding around town.

I ask this question a lot, and it's because I really don't know, but why Nitto track bars? They're probably the least practical handlebar available, so I just scratch my head every time I see them off the velodrome.

I like them myself. I utilize 3 positions on them including the drops, but I only use them on my 'fast' bike. Daily rider gets bullhorns.

Yea I have risers on my other bike, i wanted to give the track drops a try. The 125's have a little more of a flat bar on the top (i think) so they're pretty comfy when i'm just cruising, but i got these drops because i wanted to mess around with flying down the street for a couple yards down in the drops. It's really fun, i feel really low on my bike, and its fun just flying around like that. But yea, the stem and handlebar setup isn't the most practical, and I won't be doing any rides that are too long distance with this bike. Soooo fun though hehe

The tube boxes on the floor give the picture that "just finished" look.

What caused you to settle for the sugino cranks and kalloy post? everything else is super sweet.

Well I settled for the Sugino RD cranks instead of the Sugino 75's or something else just cuz i liked how they looked, and i didn't feel like a 144bcd crank would give me THAT much more utility. The Kalloy seatpost is just because i couldn't get my hands on the Supertype seatpost that I wanted. I tried to get one from thebikebiz, and waited a whole month, but they never came, so i just settled. The seatpost is the only thing on the bike that I plan on changing sometime in the future.
