Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Dura-Ace LF Track Hubs

My friend was able to hook me up with a pair of new low flange Dura Ace track hubs for real cheap and I was wondering if anybody has had experience with them. I know people love the high flange version, and I would have preferred those - but these came at a price I couldn't resist. I am going to build these up to Open Pros and I was wondering if the fact they are low flange is going to make a noticeable difference in wheel strength.

thanks

The whole world builds low-flange hubs almost exclusively now, and strength is never an issue. You'll be fine.
