ditching the decals...

Good afternoon all,

I've got a 2007 Bianchi Pista (the steel/chrome one) and I am trying to find out how to remove the decals so as to make my bike a little less conspicuous. But these don't seem to be easy to remove. Has anyone removed the decals on a Pista or know how to do so? I'm concerned that the frame, despite being steel and unpainted, will still be clear coated.

I'm assuming I'm going to need much more than just a razor blade to get rid of these stickers. If anyone can help, it would be much appreciated.

Cheers

the decals are under the clear coat on those frames. you'll have to strip away those section of clear coat, remove the decals, the reapply the clear. won't be as easy as peeling off a sticker. it's up to you if it's worth it.
