I would say those recommendations a little too low for wider tires. My total load = 230 pounds and I need to run 700x28s close to 100 psi to keep the tire from feeling squishy and sluggish.

I run 23mm tires at 120 PSI, which is spot on the recommended pressure for me.

60 psi. unless conditions are bad and slick and you want a little more squish for traction and a wider contact patch. then try 50 before going any lower.

that seems low for a wheel that size, but i go by the tire's label. some people go over with no consequences, but i've never tried it.

what? that chart says i should be ~100psi. i've ridden on 100 psi at times when i didn't check, but i noticed some bottoming out on road imperfections (not strictly potholes, and i can usually minimize impact on those).

that chart says that at my size (130) i shouldn't even USE my 35mm tires!
