On a similar note, I had a great discussion about this at work today. We had the co-op student convinced that we were going to offer it as a service to anyone who brought in an older bike to get tuned up.

There was some talk of a expander bolt brake mount or something like a stem that went into that space to mount a brake. It seems like some of these trick oriented riders would love bigger tires to absorb more impact... |
