As an update to this resurrected thread....I still haven't heard from the DA yet after nearly 3 weeks, which is what my attorney told me to expect. Who knows, maybe the cops drove him around the corner and let him go, or the DA just pled him down to lesser charge, figuring that they had better things to do than waste too much time on a bike thief. Either way, it certainly ruined his night and hopefully scared the SHIITE outta him.
