Formula hub ?

Is it possible to change the axle on the Formula TH52 hubs. If so I'd like to get some 110 replacement axles and file them down to fit my 9mm older keirin track ends until I get a new wheelset with some DA's or something. I know this has been discussed many times but I just wasn't sure it was possible with these hubs.

It is possible to change the axle, but formula axles have a certain diameter and spacing design to fit the cartridge bearings. There's nothing you can change with a different axle. It seems like the only thing you could do is get super-thin cone and lock nuts, but I doubt that would get you down to 110mm. It looks like there is a 1mm spacer on each side, so you could just take those out and stretch your frame, I suppose.

Right on. Well I'll just have to screw around with it. Do you know of anywhere that sells the required size? I didn't see anything on Bicycle Research.
