So someone from Craigslist stole the bike I was trying to sell him

So I bought a bike from a guy I know a few months ago. It was an older schwinn model I think (couldnt tell which kind, the guy had spray painted it gray). I was really excited b/c this was going to be my first fixie. I built it all up myself, including some mavic wheels (which I paid too much for, I'm broke ).
I rode it around campus for a little bit, but something just wasn't right about it for me (it was a little big). And since I'm so broke and need money for things like food (I'm scrawny), I decided to sell it on craigslist.
To make the story shorter I guess, there was a guy that was really interested and we met up last week so he could take a look at it. Next thing I know he brings out a big crew of scary looking guys and says "This bike is mine! We're taking the bike, and not taking no for an answer". So I'm obviously scared out of my mind, being that I'm a scrawny blonde kid who doesn't want to get beat up by a bunch of scary dudes. I tried to talk to him, but I don't think it would have mattered anyway.
So now not only do I not have a bike, but I don't even have any money. If anyone sees the bike, could you please contact me? It would be much appreciated.
Heres a picture of it from the craigslist ad:

If I wasn't so lazy I'd do an IP search to figure out if this is the OP of the other thread or someone truly resourceful who managed to get a different picture of the bike somehow.

That definitely isn't a new picture. Shuklas (the OP of the other thread) posted that around the 6th or 7th page.

I'm calling shenanigans right now.

EDIT:
The image in this thread is link:

The image in the other thread ( https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...=403948&page=4 ) is:
https://i284.photobucket.com/albums/l...r/IMG_0155.jpg

Linked from the same photobucket account ( https://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll36/fixedrider ).
It is, in fact, shenanigans.
MYSTERY SOLVED.
