Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Question about KHS

Do they make the flite 100 in a 55cm frame, because if they do I can't seem to find one.

I'm about 5.11 maybe 6ft at most, I tested out a 57 cm flite 100 today and it just felt too tall. The guy at the shop lowered the saddle alot but still felt too big, but he kept telling me that the size looked just right and that khs does not make a 55cm frame. Does this sound right, being my height that a 57cm frame would be too big? Any help would be appreciated, thanks

i'm 5'11, ride a 53cm with a 10cm stem and the seatpost is about one fist plus three fingers out of the frame. it fits pretty well and i've ridden it 60 miles before which much problem (of course, i also get off the bike and take breaks to eat or pee every 45 minutes).

Andre, Thanks for the feedback ,very informative.

Operator, yes I did but thought maybe older frames were made in other sizes and to my knowledge this was a forum for asking questions and sharing information on this topic. So please, kill yourself.
