Bianchi Pista - Brisbane - trade?

I need a geared bike for a longer commute.

I bought this bianchi last year and it is unmarked.

It is a 51cm pista track bike in chrome in perfect condition.

It retails for 1200 in Brisbane, Australia ... am keen to swap for road bike of a value of 900 or more

Technical features

Frame Pista CrMo (Steel) Butted
Fork CrMo (Steel) Butted 1"
Stem Kalloy AS-006, 3-D forged 6061, -17 degree, Hi-Polish
Handlebar Prememtec 4002R, Steel - Chrome. 26.0mm
Headset VP-A34C
Saddle Velo VL-1166
Seatpost QR CrMo w/nut and washer. M6, silver

I fitted a shimano front brake ( Flat bar lever and 105 caliper ).
Comes with spare chainwheel, with standard 48 rollout is somewhere near 80 inches so I got a custom chainwheel knocked up from cycle underground in Sydney in a 44 which reduces it to around 70 inches, much better for any slight incline on your commute ( Unused so far since I only rode a few flat miles to the trainstation on it each day )

Text / Call ( deleted phone number, contact via email )

Or email me at damiansmith+bike at gmail.com

Ahhh, the Pistadex is high in Australia....

Anyway, There ain't a whole lot of people from Australia on this board, let alone Brissy folk. Good luck, though. Trading post? Gumtree? Local music streetpress?

Not smart to post your real name, phone # and email on a public forum.

I've never had a problem with my real name on a forum, and I can filter any email that picks up this one automatically... but yuo're right ... I took my phone number off. Didn't have any unwanted calls though.

LOL the pistadex, I see another bike snob nyc reader here.

I like riding it but I need to commute 15 K and it can be hilly ... and the finance committee ( wife ) won't allow any more bikes... so I need to swap this.

I'd be keen on swapping it for a caad 4,5,6 cannondale ... anyone?

Yes, very good, you can buy Pistas cheap in NYC.
You can't here in Brisbane and this is 300 below local rrp.

Those were the pedals that it came with, I have track pedals on it now but the bike will come with no pedals.

Good thing you posted your real name - I'd hate to email and ask for "poopypants"

Good luck with the sale. You shouldn't have trouble moving that thing.
