wesleys blech white will work good (almost too good, it's pretty strong stuff), simple green and a stiff brush will also do the trick.

bikes are workhorses. i feel the more dirty my bike gets the more i've been enjoying it. if i wanted to keep my bike spotless all the time i'd leave it hanging in my living room.
with that said, mild soap and a sponge will work okay... or a toothbrush.
but they won't stay white for very long.

don't get me wrong i clean my bike and maintain it, but cleaning the part of your bike that will get INSTANTLY dirty when u roll 5 feet seems ridiculous.

The only parts of my bikes that I regularly clean are the greasy parts. Anyone who spends an hour scrubbing the road crap off of his/her tires needs to find a boy/girlfriend.

In all honesty, my tires were semi-deflated and therefore were collecting dirt on the white sidewalls a lot quicker. I also haven't gotten a chance to take pictures of my bike since its been built up and I wanted the pictures to show its pre-trashed beauty
