Yes
the "700" number is your rim size and he "32" is the size of the actual tire part. The only question is if your frame will fit that big of a tire as you may run into some clearance issues.

I find that i'm having a lot less flats since i have foregone the use of rubber and ride the rim.


IRC tires are made out of soy and nobody at the factory is allowed to eat meat.How's that for vegan.

You should get a white car instead. Girls aren't impressed by guys that appear too broke for cars and that have more fashion sense then them. Jus' sayin'.

I have Conti Ultra Sports and they're real soft; I've only had 'em for two months and they're pocked full of little holes where I did or didn't get flats. Next time I'm planning on Armadillos, Gatorskins, or Marathons, to be decided later. IMO, slick tires without flat protection don't belong in city streets. Currently running 28's but thinking about 25's. Trying to get an answer about whether the thinner ones or the thicker ones will be faster is about as polarizing as asking "should I get an abortion or not?"

Cheapest ones I can find.
I got a Conti Ultra Sport a while back and I'm liking it a lot, and I have one of the cheaper specialized tires but havent mounted it yet.
Right now the ultra sport is on the front and I have a michelin orium on the back. It was super cheap but does the job and seems to be holding up pretty well.

25's are faster due to less rolling resistance.

Right now, and for the past few years, I ride 28's that are really 25's in the real world. And they have a kevlar strip down the middle. Why? If you live and ride a lot in an urban area like I do, the roads are too rough to enjoy a ride on narrower tires, and nice, expensive tires flat and tear way too easily on things you can't even see. Replacing expensive racing tires gets old quickly.

I like the looks of those, continental seems to be the jam for tires, they seem to offer a range of good tires and the prices arent outrageous.

last year i bought a set of some crapper Fortes at the Performance 1/2 sale ($6 each).. and they skidded like champs and rode fine, but got hecka flats and were super hard to get on my CXP22s by hand.. not worth it in the desert cities.

been riding a set of Conti Gatorskins lately with zero flats.

I'm faster on 700x28 tires than I am on 650x23 with the same gearing.

damn, i like those too. ctrl-d that *****! i had conti ultra sports (700*23) on my fixed to begin with, and they lasted a LONG time, even riding brakeless and skidding like a fool. i eventually swapped em out for a set of 35mm cross tires (yeah, they fit and are awesome, but sloooooooow on the street), but i still have em around as a back up set. love em.

on my geared bike, i have vittoria rubino's (700*25)and so far i'm super happy with them as well.

This is actually the contact patch debate you're starting. Narrower tires will deflect more and a longer thinner patch is made. bigger tires don't deflect as much and a shorter fatter contact patch is made. Obviously there's a point where wind resistance and unnecessary friction come into play.

All that said, I usually run 20's in the summer.
