crank and bottom bracket compatibility question
I'm currently building up a new bike and I'm going to use a tange 68x103 bottom bracket. I was hoping I could use the cranks from my old conversion, which are Sugino AT road cranks, with this bottom bracket. Does anyone think that I will run into any problems?
I like the cranks and would like to avoid buying new ones if possible. The proper spacing to get a straight chainline is 103 on the bottom bracket though so i can't go any wider.

The bottom bracket and cranks together determine the chain line, not just the bottom bracket. You need to think of them as a set.
A 103mm bottom bracket will definitely not work with that crank set (according to Sheldon's bb database it takes a 115.5 and 2mm of spacers to give you a 42.5 mm chain line).
