How is it that the universe hasn't collapsed in on itself after all this?

Ouch, man.

I was just bored, and thought I'd ride a POS extra bike I have around the lighted lot across the street.

I actually don't ride at night because I don't have any lights, I always wear my helmet, and I ride pretty conservatively. And my good bike has bar plugs.

But I still don't wear a sweater!

OK, I do.

That's that guy that rides brakeless ss in San Francisco, right?

My shred was pretty weak--the lot was empty, so I would just coast until I got real slow, then put my foot down and take a few steps. The bike is a bit small, so that made it easier.

P.S. I'm a terrible troll.

I could've used some brake pads made out of Vans' soles on my descent of Nat Mt. yesterday. There was no 'try to stay on road'; you either stayed on the road or you died.

it's totally possible to ride brakeless singlespeed safely, you just have to modify how you ride.

that or ride so fast you bend the space-time continuum, thereby minimizing your cross-section.

ask natebdp, he knows all about it.

You can get the same effect by simply not using your brakes.
