Anyone riding them? how are they?

I've read that in the past years there has been issues with play frequently developing in the hubs, is this still an issue?

Never ridden them, but I could see that the low spoke count/likely stiffness might wreak havoc on cartridge bearings.

Not sure what is more confusing. What I think he is trying to say or what he is actually saying.

the wheels aren't great. i'm not sure if they've addressed the play issue but i got some about a 8 months ago and wish i didn't. they're light. and strong. but the hubs suck. i just use them on the track only. which i guess is what they're made for.

oh and i own the 32 hole version, not the 20.

Thanks for the input, what exactly is it about the hubs that make them suck?

Bearings not smooth? Need a lot of maintenance? just wondering.

The hubs I have loosened pretty often and ended up with a lot of play. I somehow got it just right and they've been fine. However I don't ride them much considering they're mostly track use for me.
