Fixed Gear Conversion Solution...?

Alright, I've got a 198~ Fuji Espree that I'm trying to get rideable for the summer. I want to convert it to Single Speed/Fixed Gear. It has stock wheels/bottom bracket/cranks and a 126mm rear dropout spacing. In order to do it myself, could I buy these things:

107mm Shimano English BB
Bulletproof Cranks w/ 42T Chainring
Front & Rear 700c Wheels with 120mm spacing flip/flop hub (probably spaced to 126mm at a bike shop)
Long reach calipers
1/8" Chain

& be all set with chainline/durability?

I'm trying to be cost effective, while being able to use some 700c tires/tubes I've already got. Thanks!

sounds like you have things about right. i'd just double check which size bottom bracket you need to get the chainline right with the bulletproof cranks (don't know it off the top of my head). most budget fixed hubs (i.e. formula) should come with long axels with spacers that'll make them work in 120mm and 126mm dropouts, no need for a mechanic there. as far as durability goes if you buy your wheels online take them to your lbs to make sure the spokes are properly tensioned and all that, this will go a long ways in terms of keeping them true.

thanks for the feedback! i think i'll save a ton of money going this route and finding this stuff myself online, such as this deal for a bottom bracket, rather than spending it all at a LBS that might only have a select amount of stock. i want to support them, but i'm broke!

also, i got the idea for the 107mm BB and bulletproof cranks having a 42mm chainline from this old post: fuji berkley conversion
