Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

i've been wondering that for a while.

Aerospokes... style.
Spinergy's... style (wanting to be diff)

Its the same thing.

SOme would argue... why would you want to ride a bike with no gears? While most of us would probably say the nostalgia... Im sure a GRIP of people on here did it for style/trends.

Some people would STILL probably say... why are you riding a bike at all?

FWIW... those spinergy's are a faaaaaaaaast wheel. So long as you can get past the whole... when is this thing going to explode on me problem.

if you can get past that problem, I had a friend that hit a pothole on a fast descent and had some pretty serious injuries... is it really worth it? ride a ****ing deep-v if you dont have the money for a HED3.
