Looking for old thread about bags made of old inner tubes

Anyone have anything on that? I don't even know if it had it's own thread, but it was cool. I have searched, both here and google. Google comes up with some nifty stuff, but not quite what I'm looking for. Thanks, if anyone can help.

Are you looking to purchase something already made or are you seeking instructions to make something?

Look for a post in about a month... at least one person voted on my poll saying they were going to spend their month off learning to sew bags.

I've seen that, but there's also someone local to me who makes all sorts of bags from inner tubes. A store right up the street from my house carries them. I'll go see what I can find out tonight or tomorrow. They make men's wallets, and my brother really likes his. It has a zipper all the way around so it's quite water resitant.

Those are all close, but I remember there being something else. I might be wrong. I'm looking to find something for a client to use for packaging cosmetic samples. Something very sustainable/recycled and kinda hip.

Was it the one that had hairnet helmets and all sorts of other recycled tube stuff? Someone in japan, I think, was it in the track bikes in tokyo thread?

If you're talking about small bags, are you sure it was tubes and not tires?
