Six Pack Slam -- Milwaukee/Baltimore

Hello Friends!

Just wanted to inform of a little even that happens every other wednesday night in milwaukee (1st and 3rd wednesdays) and every wednesday night in Baltimore...The Six Pack Slam!

Basically here's how it works...

We try to get as many people as we can to get together, ride around on our bicycles, and end up at a local drinking hole. In Milwaukee we have been going to Nessun Dorma in Riverwest lately and taking it from there, not sure about Baltimore (My brother coordinates it there but i'll post more info soon for Baltimore)

Here's the rules...

1- show up
2- you dont have to drink alcohol to come, we have multiple non-drinkers that still show up
3- as we'd like to keep as much bike related as possible, we understand some people have to drive

But basically check www.sixpackslam.com in about a week for full details!

Everyone is invited and we'd like to get as many people at the slam as possible, so come out, have fun, and meet some new people in the area!

oh yeah we meet around 10:30 in milwaukee

Maybe post this in the Regional section, but this sounds like it may be of interest to me. Although 10.30 is kind of late.

ha! It's pretty late for me too, but I'll try and make it. It would be nice to meet some folks from the forums. Plus, I like to ride bikes and drink beer, and combining them is even better.

thread hi jacked

i think i saw a stolen bike, but im not sure. the situation seemed sketchy.

do any of you know of any one that rides a trek t1 with black hubs and yellow/ gold rims. nitto drop bars wraped in yellow cloth tape. i saw a crusty old black dude creeping real slowly on the side walk. and when i tryed to talk to him about the bike he crossed the street. seemed real sketchy. couldnt tell if it had clipless or not, but the dudes foot slipped off once when he was trying to slow down when he was going down a slight hill.

i saw this at the laundry mat on van buren by the picken save. he was going towards the via duct into river west.

Steven, You know Im an old man and 10:30 is late for me...BUT I think I can make it this week!

John, The only people I know that have T1s are Mario and well...you.

Also, a bunch of kids meet up on Water and Wisconsin on Thursday nights for rides at 10. I went last week and it was a pretty good time.

Thread further derailed...
